Weekend Mountain Biking with Charlie

I have been able to get away to the woods over the last few Sundays.

Charlie Biggs hosted a Willamette River romp near Oakridge on the 11th. A half dozen riders headed out of town after a delayed exit; missing visa, snack acquistion, Wal-Mart directions, shady-mart discussions and consequent customer firings/relocation, etc. Moments out of town, we lost a 29r wheel, and then Eric the wise snatched it unscathed from the Terwillger turns and we continued down to Oakridge. Several of us camped and screwed around after work Saturday through Sunday. Supreme breakfast made for a great day of riding. Thanks again to Charlie Biggs and Dr Bob(ert) Sanders for cheffing and providing the transpo.

Pump Forest Park Trail Party: 100% Success

I met with 24 other bikers for the third PUMP/Forest Park Conservancy trail work party.  It felt great to accomplish so much work in just a few hours.  In particular I had a blast working with Butch who used to be my service manager when we were employed at the Fat Tire Farm.  Check out some info about the day on the new PUMP website.

Join PUMP to make a difference in your mountain bike community and receive a 10% discount on parts and accessories at Revolver Bikes.

PUMP Forest Park Trail (Build) Party location change

There is an update to the Work Party. We will be meeting at
NW Marina Way off Hwy 30 at 9am to work on Newton Road. We should be able to make dramatic changes on this less used corridor. Yeah. I will see you there!

PUMP Forest Park Trail (Build) Party!

PUMP is at it again in the largest section of our city's parkspace, the 5,000 acre Forest Park. Come do your part to improve and maintain the limited soft surface trails that you can easily ride to from your house.

"Please come on out, grab the trail tool of your choice, and help us show solidarity and commitment to maintaining singletrack in Forest Park!

Warning: Advocacy can be addictive! So come on out and get addicted with us! If we have a good enough turn-out, we will divide and give some attention to FL3 as well. Please RSVP so we can plan the additional work and have enough equipment (and pastries) on hand for everyone!
